Upcoming Events at Kebler Corner
Brush & Barrel: Paint & Sip Wine Night — Friday, August 7th
Grab your friends and spend an evening getting creative while enjoying a glass of wine at Kebler Corner! Our Brush & Barrel Paint & Sip Night is the perfect way to unwind, try something new, and create a piece of artwork to take home.
Tickets are $50 per person, which includes wine and all art supplies. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot!

Align Your Own Divine Nature Women’s Retreat — October 8th–11th
This fall, Kebler Corner will be hosting a truly special experience — the Align Your Own Divine Nature Women’s Retreat, set among the peaceful beauty of the North Fork Valley. Located in a private lodge and cabins nestled along the river at the base of Kebler Pass in Somerset, Colorado, this retreat offers the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and create space for reflection, healing, and community.
Hosted by Rachel DeLong and Becky Hesseltine, this nourishing women’s retreat is designed to help you reconnect with your natural intuitive wisdom, deepen your spiritual connection, and return home feeling renewed, inspired, and deeply connected to yourself and those around you.
Throughout the weekend, guests will experience a beautiful blend of mindfulness, movement, creativity, and connection, including:
- Yoga and guided meditation sessions
- Sound healing and four sound baths
- Spirit messages and intuitive development work

Top O’ the Rockies Rally | July 23–26
The Top O’ the Rockies Rally is back for another year of scenic rides, mountain adventures, and exploring the beautiful roads of Colorado’s Western Slope.
Hosted nearby in Paonia, this annual event brings riders together from across the country to enjoy guided rides, entertainment, vendors, and everything the North Fork Valley has to offer.
Whether you’re participating in the rally or just enjoying the extra excitement around town, it’s a great weekend to experience the area.

West Elks Wine Trail | July 31–August 1
Spend the weekend exploring one of Colorado’s most beautiful wine regions during the West Elks Wine Trail!

Delta County Fair | August 1–9
The Delta County Fair is a true summer tradition and a favorite event for locals and visitors alike.
From livestock shows and fair food to entertainment, activities, and community celebrations, there is something for everyone to enjoy during this week-long event.

Anthracite Creek Fly Fishing Report | Week of July 24–31
With warm afternoons and cooler mountain mornings, anglers are finding the best success by adjusting their approach to summer conditions. Early mornings, evenings, and shaded stretches of the creek continue to provide some of the best opportunities as trout become more active during the cooler parts of the day.
Current Conditions
Anthracite Creek is currently experiencing typical mid-summer conditions with lower flows and clearer water. As water levels continue to drop throughout the season, trout can become more aware of their surroundings, making careful presentations and lighter tippets a great choice.
Small dries, terrestrials, and nymph patterns are all producing opportunities, especially when presented naturally through slower seams and deeper holding areas. Remember to be mindful of warmer afternoon water temperatures and practice proper catch-and-release techniques to help keep our local trout populations healthy.

Dry-dropper rigs continue to be one of the most effective setups this time of year.
Where Fish Are Holding
- Shaded runs
- Deeper pools
- Pocket water behind rocks
- Undercut banks
- Seams where fast and slow water meet
- Areas with overhanging vegetation
As the days warm up, trout will often move toward deeper, cooler water and shaded areas for relief from the afternoon sun.
Current Fire Conditions
Fire restrictions remain in place across the area as dry conditions continue throughout Western Colorado.
Kebler Corner remains under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions.
To help protect our campground, neighboring properties, and the surrounding forests:
- No open campfires or charcoal fires are permitted.
- Propane fire pits and propane cooking devices are allowed if equipped with an on/off valve.
- Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
- Please use extra caution with anything that could create sparks or ignite dry vegetation.
