The North Fork Valley features the West Elks American Viticultural Area – home to some of the highest elevation vineyards in all of North America, and boasting some of the best wine in the country. The North Fork Valley features local wineries and eateries that will keep you coming back for more. Relax, sip and enjoy the incredible vistas.
If you aren’t able to make it to these beautiful wineries, don’t worry any longer! Here at Kebler Corner, we have a fully stocked liquor store and offer several different varieties from the local wineries. Stop in and grab a bottle – or two!
1) Mesa Winds Farm & Winery – Enjoy specialty high valley wines and farm-to-table small plates on their outdoor patio, with panoramic views of The West Elk Mountain Range.
2) The Storm Cellar – Indulge in aromatic wines while taking in the mountainous views of the North Fork Valley. Participate in their wine club, and be on the lookout for frequent dinners, wine tastings, and public events throughout the spring/summer.
3) Big B’s Delicious Orchards – A great place to bring the family! Big B’s offers an orchard store filled with local food and products, a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, a U-Pick orchard, dispersed camping, live music, events/parties, and most importantly, their award winning hard ciders.
4) Endless Endeavor Winery and B&B – A perfect weekend getaway for you and your love. Stay in the cozy bed and breakfast while soaking up the breathtaking views of the West Elk Mountains, and tasting a variety of old world wines.
5) Qutori Vines/Root & Vine Market – A highly rated pitstop in Paonia. Shop in the market for local products and gifts, grab a bite to eat at their farm-to-table café, and enjoy the breathtaking views of Mt. Lamborn and Landsend Peak from their patio while indulging in one of their several varieties of wine.
6) 5680’ Vineyards – Enjoy sipping on a diversity of wines made from grapes grown at 5,680 feet above sea level.
7) Azura Cellars and Gallery – “An experience beyond the bottle” – Enjoy a complimentary wine tasting while soaking in some of the best views in all of the North Fork Valley, strolling through their art gallery, or participating in their R/C yacht club.
8) Stone Cottage Cellars – A sustainable winery built from the ground up – literally! Stay in the original Stone Cottage, sip a wide variety of crisp and refreshing wines, take in the panoramic views, and give the residing wine dog, Gibbs, a pat on the head.
9) Black Bridge Winery – A perfect place to spend a summer day with your family! Black Bridge offers a huge general store with tons of local groceries and gifts, a U-pick orchard, creek access, and a large wine collection you don’t want to skip on – you can even keep your glass after a tasting!
10) Alfred Eames Cellars – This premium Colorado winery offers a wide collection of wines, along with public special events, private tours with the owners, and one of the coolest wine caves in town!
